Las Labradas Petroglyphics tour
An hour south of Mazatlan, in a little port called BARRAS DE PIAXTLA, right on its beach area, you will have the magnificent view of volcanic rocks sculpted with petroglyphics, this ancestral work was made by natives of the American continent about 1,500 years ago, after the eruption of CACAXTLA volcano.
These petroglyphics are a unique testimony of hundred of years of mythological traditions and their preservation is really surprising, after the passed years and its seashore location.
During our visit to this interesting region we will also explore the community of la CHILCAYOTA, where we can find a museum with lots of Indian items found in the area, and a local restaurant that serves an excellent prehispanic lunch.
